Philip Burton

Philip Burton is known for his seasoned ability to connect people and organizations, build trusting relationships, and find impactful solutions. He is uncommonly devoted to solving today’s leadership challenges.

Philip has over two decades of experience as a healthcare leader and business development consultant with distinct success in aligning talent, business growth, and organizational development. He received a certificate in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) from Cornell University and is particularly adept at DEI strategy and recruiting, pipeline development and startup advisory.

Philip has worked for various global organizations spanning the healthcare industry, from pharmaceutical, life sciences, medical device, integrated health systems and talent management companies. Currently, he is a managing partner for DHR Global in the DEI and Healthcare Practice Groups, a leading talent advisory firm, where he is focused on expanding diversity at the C-suite and board levels. He is also the founder of InHuevation, a social impact enterprise that advocates for eliminating barriers of access in healthcare, technology, innovation, and venture capital. Philip’s extensive experience also includes leading the DEI Practice for WittKieffer, previous managing director for a boutique search firm, and a variety of roles for Advocate Healthcare, Hillrom, Roche, and Abbott.

With a commitment to community and leadership diversity, Philip has served on several boards, including the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE), and is past president of the Chicago-Midwest NAHSE Chapter. Additional affiliations include the American College of Health Executives (ACHE); Chicago Health Executive Forum (CHEF), the National Association of Latino Health Executives (NALHE); the American Hospital Association’s Institute for Diversity and Health Equity (IFDHE); and Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, incorporated.
